Brian and Sally Kilonback were looking for new flooring for their kitchen and entrance. They had searched the web but had also checked out KR Flooring which had been recommended by a friend.
Sally Kilonback says their 20 year old home had been due for a refresh. “It had grey carpet and white walls, black-painted tiles in the entrance and kitchen, and the carpet had faded in front of the French doors.”
At KR Flooring, they considered their options, settling on the Knight Plank Light Worn Oak from the Karndean range. They also decided to use KR Flooring’s recommended installers.
Brian and Sally’s initial impression, when they saw the flooring installed in the entrance and kitchen, was so positive that they decided to rip up the existing lounge and dining carpet and extend the new flooring throughout the ground floor.
The random patterning of the “planks” made the transition seamless. And the installers also took away the old tiles and carpet.
Sally says the new flooring is as practical, and easy to look after, as it is beautiful. “It’s really made such a difference.”
“It’s fabulous. And it all looks so modern and beachy now, which is just what we wanted. We’d recommend it to anyone.
“We’ve also had friends say: ‘Wow! I might do that!’”
