Heavy Traffic Area
Consider using a heavy duty product for those areas that get more of a hammering than others: a busy kitchen in a family home, or the entrance way from the backyard, or maybe a rental property.
Normal Traffic Area
Vinyl flooring has been installed in many areas in many homes for many years, and very seldom in a residential space will you see it worn right through. So in most spaces this standard grade will work just fine, but consider upgrading if you have a special requirement around quality or traffic flow.
Light Traffic Area
Products classified in this category may be reduced in price due to quality defects, or lightweight products designed for limited use or walls. They may be more appropriate for use in a store room or exhibition space.
Extra Heavy Traffic Area
These extra heavy duty options are really made for light-commercial use such as a cafe or a retail store. Consider using it for your "forever home" but do ask about installation and maintenance requirements which may be more suited for a commercial scenario.

But, depending on your skill level, modular products are relatively easy to install, as are loose-lay (glueless) sheet options. Do bear in mind though that preparation requirements can vary. DIY - Advanced
We'd always recommend to use a professional, that way you can get the whole job done guaranteed (and avoid the hassle of muck-ups).
