What is sheet vinyl flooring?

Sheet vinyl (commonly referred to in New Zealand as lino - but not to be confused for linoleum) is a synthetic flooring material which is affordable, durable and generally easy to install. 

Sheet vinyl is still commonly used in a variety of kiwi homes and businesses.

Even as the years have gone by, sheet vinyl is still a good-looking and cost-effective practical way to cover an area. New generation products are very smart-looking with designs constantly evolving. Newer designs imitate the look of many popular types of flooring and with a good finish are often difficult to distinguish from the original. 

Other than the design of sheet vinyl, the best thing about vinyl flooring is that it’s made to live on! Warm, comfortable underfoot, and easy to clean. 

Vinyl flooring is also water-resistant so is perfect for use in bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms. In fact, you can use sheet vinyl in almost every area of your home. 

Typically the width of vinyl sheet rolls range from 1.5 metres to 4 metres which means a wide variety of application options are available.
